After last week’s simply awesome episode and the best episode of the season. Knowing this was a Kate (Evangeline Lilly) episode I was hoping for more of the same given the entire castaways are back on the island and still stuck in the past.

It didn’t disappoint. We got for the second week a genuine flashback documenting Kate’s time back on the mainland after returning with Aaron, why she loves the boy and cares for him deeply and leaving him was probably the hardest thing she had to do but she wants to find Claire and bring her back. We also got the revelation as to what happened with Aaron – it wasn’t nefarious, obviously, she gave him to his grandmother.

It also was a turning point for Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Kate as three years has passed but they still have feelings for one another, that Sawyer wanted her to look in and care for his daughter, Clementine, and that they’ve all moved along since their time apart.
